We had "blizzard" conditions over here in the Northeast, and it hit us hard too. Heavy winds with gusts up to 50 mph for over 24 hours and snow accumulation of about 1.5 feet with drifts at over 2.5 feet.
Ryne has been waiting for "snow time" since we got a sled from a tag sale this summer. Not to disappoint, we got some sledding in before the big storm hit and then we barricaded ourselves inside for the rest of the day.
Pehr shoveled our very long {and newly paved} driveway for 2 hours tonight...by the glow of the Christmas lights. He came in with icicles hanging from his eyebrows and sideburns. I felt terrible for him {and it's definitely no easy task...I've done it myself} but I just had to laugh at his appearance. Poor guy!
