Flashback: This photo was taken in the hospital when Ryne was 2 days old. I ordered this blanket as a surprise for Pehr and showed him after Ryne was born. "Born a Cowboys fan just like Daddy!" Ryne doesn't have a choice...not yet anyway. He's a Cowboys fan...born and raised. He now says "Go Cowboys!" whenever he sees {any} football game on TV.
For fun this season, Pehr printed out the logos of all of the teams and is going to have Ryne pick the winning teams each week. To practice, Pehr held up the team logo for the Dallas Cowboys (which he's very familiar with) with the Arizona Cardinals logo and asked Ryne which team he liked better. He thought for a long time and then said "Birdie." We said "Oh, no! Don't you like the Cowboys?" He said "Nooo...birdie!"
The blanket shown in the picture above is more of a keepsake than actually used around here. But, Ryne recently found it and now he'll sometimes specifically request it by saying the "blanket with my name on it." Too cute!
