Ryne acted {and quite looked like Goldilocks} at the pumpkin patch saying "that one is too big / small / dirty". He finally settled on an orange/green pumpkin and was happy about his decision.
Ryne brought along his binoculars and he and Grandma used them to spy the best apples in the orchard. We sampled a few different varieties and filled our bag.
Then we took a special trip to Ryne's favorite store {Toys R Us} where Grandma treated him to the new Thomas movie "Misty Island Rescue."
After that, we were reunited with the big boys and went to dinner at a place that had kids music {and dancing}! He told Grandma in the bath later that night that he had a "busy, but fun, day!" That's usually how it goes around here!

It was a "fun but busy" day... I was wondering where those clothes I am wearing came from, but then remembered that they were yours as our luggage had not yet arrived from our "diverted" flight
