Le Parc

Saturday we walked to a nice park not too far from our place. There were many walking paths, a pond and lots of grassy areas. It was so weird to see this big, green park in the middle of an urban jungle! What a treasure! Some of the trees were already starting to bud which is exciting. I’m sure it will be so pretty come springtime.

It was a beautiful day and Ryne loved being on the grass. I don’t think he’s ever actually seen grass up close and personal before and he was just in awe. Plus, he’s so into textures right now – he was amazed and entertained at the same time. He liked pulling out the spears of grass and playing with the flowers. At one point he found a piece of bark and kept trying to put it in his mouth. He even did a face plant into some dirt, but didn’t even bat an eye! The whole family had a great time – we can’t wait to go back again!
