On Sunday, we went Apple Picking at Blue Jay Orchards. We were blessed with beautiful weather...as it poured down rain all day Saturday. Apple picking has become an annual tradition with our family, and we didn't want to miss out this year, with the season slowly coming to an end. Remember last year's photos and video?
While we were there, we feasted on apple cider and apple cider donuts! However, Ryne's favorite part of apple picking was sitting on the tractor (which we did at least 3 times).
This was our first trip to this orchard which was nice because the trees are grown low to the ground, so you can literally just pick them off the tree, without a picking tool. Ryne was able to pluck them off by himself, which was a lot of fun! The groves had Granny Smiths ready for picking. We stocked up so Pehr could make apple pie. Mmmm!
