Trick or Treat (Please & Thank You)

Leading up to Halloween, we tried to prepare Ryne for the big day by teaching him how trick or treating works. We asked him what he should say if he wants candy. He said "Please?" Well...yeah. But what else could you say if you want candy? "Thank you?" Yes, you should definitely say thank you . But, on Halloween, you say "Trick or Treat!" He got it...we practiced and he was a pro. But, our little elephant got cold feet and turned shy whenever we had to ask for candy. He definitely got it though...wanting to eat a piece of candy after each stop! Go figure!

At the last minute (literally, like 10 minutes before we had to leave) I decided to put stripes on my face and wear a black and gray sweater and knit beanie and accompanied Ryne as my own version of a zebra. We actually timed things perfectly and avoided the rain, only getting sprinkled on as we were walking back to the car. Fun times!
