Pehr got the day off from work yesterday because he had just arrived back from some quick meetings in the US. Poor guy was exhausted though! He left early Sunday morning (Father’s Day!) and then got back early Wednesday morning. Between two international flights in just a few days, and a total of 11 hours sleep on and off over that time period due to jet lag and a hectic meeting schedule, he was pooped! I still think it’s silly that they sent him over there for one day of meetings. But, if we had known about it sooner or had planned better, we should have just moved back home then and he could have worked his last week and a half remotely. Oh, well! The plus side is that Pehr is probably Mega Super Star status with his airline miles now! And, he got a little taste of the American life again!
The countdown continues! This upcoming weekend is our last weekend in Paris so we’re each going to choose something that we want to see again, or see for the first time. I’m deciding between Monet’s Garden (about a 45 min train ride from Paris) which we haven't seen yet or going back to Montmartre and walking around. It’s such a neat little area. I’m sure the weather will play a role as well…here’s hoping for sunny skies!
