Sunday was another beautiful day – it got up to 77!!! WOW! We spent the day at the park again and then came home and made some homemade salsa. We bought everything at the market the day before. We were even able to find a tiny bag of tortilla chips (yellow corn style). We miss Mexican food so much and have been craving chips and salsa. We even ordered “chips and salsa” at a restaurant in London only to get served Doritos with huge 1 inch chunks of tomato, onion and peppers. NOT what we had imagined! So, we got out the Magic Bullet and made our own salsa with tomato, onion, green pepper and salt and pepper. We should have added lime juice and garlic if we had thought about it. But, it turned out okay regardless. It was a little too “soupy” for Pehr, but still tasted yummy. I had to use the whipping blade since something is wrong with my chopping blade…maybe that’s what went wrong. Then for dinner we had ham and cheese stuffed crepes and Pehr topped his with the leftover salsa. Mmmmm!

This is a HORRIBLE picture of me (no make-up, my hair is a mess) but if I'm putting up Pehr's pic I guess it's only fair to put mine up too!
